St. Wenceslas Day

September 28, 2015: St. Wenceslas Day is the Czech national holiday and one of the most popular celebrations taking place at many venues throughout the Czech Republic, commemorating the death of the Bohemian prince St. Wenceslas, who was killed by his brother on that day, in the year 935.

Fishing festival

June 20, 2015: A traditional fishing festival was held in the waterfront and courtyard of the castle. The event was attended by more than 400 people. A number of famous local artists made an appearance during this event – Brothers Ebens, Tomáš Kočko with orchestra, Zrní and Fire Balls. The program included  a traditional market with fish specialties.
