The Secret of the Black Canvas / Exhibition by Alexandr Onishenko

Onishenko’s signature technique involves the use of a palette knife on exclusively black canvas through which he depicts the most radiant colours and deepest of shadows. Alexandr Onishenko is also the founder of The Black Canvas International Art School, where he teaches his students not to fear the black colour of the Canvas. On 27 June Alexandr Onishenko will be at Castle Blatna from 1pm to meet the visitors in the exhibition rooms in person.
