An Open-Air Performance at Castle Blatna
This summer, the castle park of Castle Blatna will host a brilliant French conversational comedy, About Love, written by the acclaimed French novelist, playwright, screenwriter and film director Philippe Claudel.
The story centres on a senior civil servant (Karel Roden) and his wife (Jana Krausová), who, in one of their many emotionally charged marital days, confront the challenges, frustrations, and bittersweet humour of their long relationship.
This witty and sharp dialogue-driven play is full of emotions, irony, and humour — at times subtle, at times daringly bold — offering a deeply human and entertaining look at love, life, and partnership.
