The PRSO is one of the Czech Republic’s most eminent orchestras. Consisting of over 100 exceptional performers organised in 15 instrumental groups, the PRSO comprises the very best of Czech and international musicians. It is a frequent guest at major Czech festivals, as well as at acclaimed venues across Europe and in Japan.
The PRSO will perform with its Chief Conductor, Alexander Liebreich, the world-renowned German artist famed for his efforts to encourage intercultural encounters. He will be joined by the top German cellist Alban Gerhardt, who has established a reputation as one of the most versatile and virtuosic cellists alive. His talent for reinterpreting familiar scores, and for introducing audiences to stunning new arrangements, has elicited invitations to perform with the world’s leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic and the New York Philharmonic.
The PRSO will perform a sensational setlist in the heart of the park at Castle Blatna, surrounded by deer and peacocks. With the Castle’s striking architecture and beautiful water features providing the backdrop, it will be an unforgettable evening.
