As part of the South Bohemian Piano Courses, on Saturday, 7th July at 7:30 pm, there will be a concert by Jan Bartoš, one of the most prominent representatives of the young generation of pianists.
Jan Bartoš is the winner of many international prizes, including from New York, Nuremberg and Concertino Praga in the Czech Republic. He also holds prestigious awards and scholarships from the Czech Ministry of Culture, the Rucorva Trust Award in the Netherlands and the Schimmel Prize in Germany.
The famous Czech actress Iva Janžurová, whose sister-in-law Zdena Janžurová founded the Piano courses in 1986, is expected to be an honorary guest at the concert.
Tickets can be purchased at www.kulturablatna.cz, at the reception of the Blatná Town Museum and at the Blatná tourist information centre. Admission is 300 CZK.
